Job Description: The Director, Finance is a senior-level leadership role that leads financial planning, analysis and reporting at BHE Renewables. This position would also be involved in market analysis, deal and contract structuring, due diligence and research on acquisitions and divestitures. This position is responsible for managing, developing and training the financial planning, analysis and reporting team. Additionally, this position will coordinate all financial planning and analysis requests and timelines with the BHE CAO office.
Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic and operational plans for control, management and improvement of BHE Renewables' financial capabilities and for ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Oversees continuous forecasting process, annual budget and 10-year planning preparation and reporting and ad hoc analysis, recommendations and presentations. Ensures financial information is accurate and deadlines are met.
• Lead, develop, train and build high functioning team to deliver accurate and timely analysis and deliverables.
• Ensure accurate forecasting through coordination with all areas of the business.
• Research market data, financial issues or questions using internal and external accounting and tax experts.
• Provide technical financial expertise and recommendations, including the review and structuring of acquisitions, divestitures or other opportunities.
• Review the financial valuations and models of new investment opportunities, and restructurings, to ensure accurate projections, returns, investment recommendations, risk management and reporting in accordance with our policies and objectives.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration or related field.
  • Advanced accounting or finance degree preferred.
  • 8 years of relevant finance experience, including three years supervisory/ management or functional leadership responsibilities required.
  • Perform responsibilities in support of the department's and the company's goals within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy; establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company; maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership to staff is demonstrated through achieving challenging goals and objectives, enabling effective communication and support of corporate and departmental goals and objectives and inspiring effective, collaborative teamwork within the department and demonstrating high personal integrity.
  • Develop accurate budgets based on departmental and business unit plans; control expenditures within budgeted levels to support those plans.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently.
