Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Team Leader to join our Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Team
Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability,
expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory
compliance, and special projects. You will also be responsible for
leading and developing Team Members, ensuring a positive company
image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to
customers and Team Members at all times.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Store Layout and Product
MerchandisingDevelop and maintain creative store layouts and
product merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Work with Team Leader to Achieve Sales, Purchasing, and Labor
TargetsCollaborate with the Team Leader to achieve sales,
purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring the Prepared Foods
department is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Assist Team Leader in Analysis of Sales, Reports, and
LaborAssist the Team Leader in analyzing sales, reports, and labor
to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive
business results.
- Demonstrate Advanced Product Knowledge and Develop Awareness of
New ProductsDemonstrate advanced product knowledge and stay
up-to-date on new products, ensuring the Prepared Foods department
is always offering the latest and greatest options to
customers.
- Maintain Good Vendor Relationships and Ensure Proper Paperwork
SubmissionMaintain good vendor relationships and ensure all
paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing, ensuring
seamless operations and minimizing delays.
- Work with Team Leader to Resolve Team Concerns or
IssuesCollaborate with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns or
issues, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Function as Point Person and Departmental Person in Charge in
Absence of Team LeaderFunction as the point person and departmental
person in charge in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring the
Prepared Foods department continues to operate smoothly and
